New Batch of Black Belts, April 2011
Proudly presenting our new Pooms and Black Belts who had successfully sat and passed the Black Belt test held on 5th Dec 2010 in La Salle Klang. Andrew Lee sat for his test in Shah Alam on 12th Dec 2010 in SK Seksyen 9, Shah Alam.

We have the pleasure to inform you that we will be organizing our 11th Power Sport Taekwondo Championship 2011 on Sunday, 26th June 2011. Venue: SRJK (C) Pandamaran B, Port Klang.

Participation fees – Sparring : RM30.00

2nd Power Sport Referees Course and Qualifications 2011
In conjunction with our 11th Power Sport Taekwondo Championship 2011, we are also organizing a Referees Course & Qualification on 1st & 2nd May 2011.
Venue: Chi Liung Center, Klang (You can download the location map from the folder PSport_files on the side column).
Time: 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
Cost of participation: RM50.00
State Qualifications: RM120.00
National Qualifications: RM150.00
Requisite to attend course:
1. Must be at least 1st Dan (15 years and above)
2. Must be registered with TM(WTF) for 2011
3. Those who go for the qualifications must ensure they have met the criteria set up by TM (WTF).
We are limiting the participants to only 25 participants because of space constraint. If you are interested, please submit your names to your instructor ASAP. Forms can be downloaded at PSport_files folder on the side column. Registration will be closed upon reaching our quota set.
SMK Convent Klang by Casovia Khoo
The Taekwondo Club of SMK Convent Klang has their training every Saturday morning, from 7.30am to 8.45am. It is either held in the school hall, Dewan SriKandi, the basketball court, or the Dataran Puteri.
Puan Yogeswari has faithfully been the teacher adviser all these years for the Taekwondo Club. The committee members for this year consists of Casovia Khoo, Kashmini Hilda, Nur Sabrina, Lim Zhi Ying, Yu Lee Sze, Premawaty Kumar, Chang Ying Yee, Jaspreet Kaur, Nurul Izzati, Yoshini Kathleen, Trisha Ganan, Darsyana, and Thew Xue Er, all of which have been voted on the first committee meeting held.

SK La Salle Klang
We have been teaching martial arts longer than we can remember. Granted, not all the time are bed of roses for us. Some of the students can be very trying at times. But nothing thrills us more than to see them improved eventually, not technically alone, but also to become more responsible and discipline in life. Here are some fine shining examples from SK La Salle Klang, and we are proud of everyone of them.

1st National Poomsae Championships 2011
The 1st National Poomsae Championships 2011 is just over, hotly contested by over 300 participants. Although, we expected 2 golds, we had to be contented with some bronzes. Our members are all first timers to such competition, competing with many experienced players, some of whom even had international exposure. Some of our members lost in the semi-finals.
Congratulations to Kadine, Hillary and Ching Yie who won a bronze medal each (4th placing) in the team event under the Senior 1 Female category; Thinaesh and Jing Hui who won a bronze medal each (4th placing) in the pair event under the Junior 1 category.
