Power Sport Taekwondo Demonstration Team
Since his return from training in Korea back in September 2005, Yap Ping Soon has initiated a class that emphasizes on demonstration techniques. The demonstration team consists of 15 members, mostly from Kwang Hwa High School. Besides these core members, there are others who participate, subject to the needs of certain demonstration acts.
The demonstration team have trained relentlessly every Sunday from 5.00 pm to 7.30 pm since its formation in early 2006. From wow-ing parents and taekwondo members with their eye catching performances during gradings and championships, this young team was so impressive that they were invited to perform in several functions and before VIPs. One such case was in conjunction with the launching and opening of a futsal stadium.
