Secondary & Primary Seksyen 9 taekwondo class cancelled coming Sat, 4th May 2013
Please take note that the SK Seksyen 9, Shah Alam would be used as a polling centre on Sunday, 5th May 2013. We are advised to cancel our taekwondo class because we are told the whole school will be sealed ‘out of bounds’.
Therefore, there will be no training this coming Saturday (4th May 2013) for both the secondary and primary Seksyen 9, Shah Alam schools.

Sekolah Menengah Seksyen 9 Taekwondo Club have been active for over a decade now. Throughout the years, most of the members have brought honour to our school and club not only from Taekwondo championships but also academic achievements. Moreover, our club have been steadily increasing in members every year.
We would like to express our gratitude to Master Leong Yong Wah and Mr. Yap Ping Hong for all the knowledge and guidance given. Through Taekwondo, we did not only gain martial art skills but have improve our self-confidence, become more discipline and more focus in everything we do in our daily lives. It is without a doubt that they have showed the best example for us to excel both physically and mentally.
To the commited members, thank you for putting so much effort in making our club stand proud and sturdy. A big welcome to all new members as well. May this year be filled with wonderful and exciting experiences.
Our training begins at 8.15 am every Saturday.

SMK La Salle Taekwondo Club Klang 2013

The year 2013 has been a major breakthrough for SMK La Salle Klang. The school has finally formed its taekwondo club formally under the covering of Power Sport Taekwondo. Its sole aim is to provide a platform for those interested in taekwondo and their self defence skills. This club will be lead by one of the most well known taekwondo master in the country, Master Leong Yong Wah who holds a 7th dan black belt. he will also be assisted by a team of dedicated instructors like Master Paulose, Master Tan Kien Tat, and his beloved wife, Mrs. Leong.
Power sport taekwondo club has been active since early 2000, and has already opened clubs in many schools like, Convent Klang, MGS Klang, SK Taman Megah, SK Assunta 1, P.J., SK Seksyen 9, and SMK Seksyen 9, Shah Alam. Now it has taken a new leap in opening its new club in SMK La Salle Klang. This shows that the taekwondo spirit has reached the heart of the young teenagers and childrens . We should be very thankful to the leadership of Master Leong and his team.
We hope with the formation of this new taekwondo club in La Salle Klang, many more students will be interested to join in this club. Currently, the secondary and primary students are training together. Parents can also assist by promoting the activities and benefits of this club. Due to overwhelming response , a parent support team was also formed recently to assist the club activities. It consists of a team of dedicated parents who come from all walk of life. With this parents support team and the trusted leadership of Master Leong , the taekwondo club in SMK La Salle will become a great and active club in the Klang District someday.
