It is also meant to provide an opportunity for members to know their friends better. Selections rotate among the academy’s members from month to month. Michelle Chan Su Jia was named ‘Student of the Month’ for the month of October 2012 by Power Sport Taekwondo Academy. Intelligent, disciplined and responsible, Michelle Chan is also a very capable student. Besides, scoring 7 A’s in her PMR and 10 A’s in her SPM exams, Michelle Chan had also shown a keen interest in other extracurricular activities ranging from music, choir, quiz to road run. A model taekwondo student, Michelle had proven herself when discharging her duties. She will always accomplish them to the best of her capabilities. Michelle Chan was also selected to represent Malaysia in the 3rd World Youth Taekwondo Camp held in Korea in 2011.

With her cheerful smile and disposition of that of a saint, she is adored by all. Seeing her potential, we are also grooming her to be an assistant instructor just like her colleague, Aisyah Khaliesah.

Power Sport Taekwondo Academy named Lee Sze Ying as ‘Student of the Month’ for August 2012. A former President of the MGS Klang taekwondo club (2010), Lee Sze Ying is a disciplined and responsible student. Besides getting her shares of all the A’s in her PMR and SPM exam, she has also proven herself to be a formidable taekwondo exponent. Lee Sze Ying is also industrious and focussed. Currently, she is undergoing training to be an instructor, and she also gives tuition in her spare time.

Ashley Khong Hui Yee was named ‘Student of the Month’ for the month of July 2012 by Power Sport Taekwondo Academy. A faithful and regular member, Ashley Khong seldom misses her class. In fact, she would be one of the few who arrives early in every training session. Ashley takes her training seriously. If there’s any difficult technique she has to learn, she will not quit until she gets it. Ashley is also responsible, humble, well mannered and easy to get along. Her numerous positions held by her in school speaks volume of her character.

With all the arsenal of fighting skills at his disposal, Sebastian, ironically doesn’t like fighting. But it would be good advice, not to mess with him. Sebastian is also cool and well mannered.

Aisyah Khaliesah bt Khairul Anuar was selected by Power Sport Taekwondo Academy as the ‘Student of the Month’ for May 2012. A petite gal, Asiyah is both kind and gentle and can easily be taken for granted. But don’t be deceived by her small frame. She had proven her mettle when she broke two planks easily with her kicks during her black belt test a year ago. Aisyah is also respectful, discipline and humble at heart. Seeing her potential, currently, we are grooming her to be an assistant instructor one day.
