Each month, Power Sport Taekwondo Martial Arts Academy honors a student from among its ranks for good attitude, discipline and zeal in taekwondo. It is also meant to provide an opportunity for members to know their friends better. Selections rotate among the academy’s members from month to month. Only 12 students earn “Student of the Month” accolades each calendar year, with an individual honored each month. Students may be selected for this prestigious honor only once in their careers at Power Sport Taekwondo Martial Arts Academy.

Achievement: Gold in sparing and poomsae, power sport, Gold in MSSD poomsae-individual and group, Bronze in sparing MSSD

Favorite color: Blue
Favorite food: Nasi lemak with fried chicken
Favorite teacher: Pn.Habibah
Reasons: I like  her because she speaks softly to students and she is a gentle teacher

Things I like to do the most: Read story books
Things I dislike to do the most: Watch the same show again and again
What I hate most: Stay alone in house
Yovinassh Raj s/o Ropathy was named ‘Student of the Month’ for January 2014 by Power Sport Taekwondo Academy. A head librarian, a responsible post, Yovinassh is also intelligent and disciplined. Recently, he score straight A’s in his UPSR and has also proven himself to be equally as good in his taekwondo with all the medals won. An adorable kid always with a charming smile._DSC7124

Last class for Seksyen 9, Shah Alam, 21st Dec 2013


21st December 2013 will be the last class for the year. We are organising a small party and fun time for the members.

Time: 9.30 am – 11.00 am

Please take note of the following:

1.  You are not required to wear your taekwondo uniform, just wear your usual casual wear and shoes.
2.  Everyone is to bring his or her own water gun.
3.  An extra change of clothes in case you get wet.
4.  Bring some light snacks and drinks for refreshment after the games (Do not bring a lot).

The next class will commence on the first Saturday when the school reopens next year.

Tashaannth Bala Chandran was selected by Power Sport Taekwondo Academy as the ‘Student of the Month’ for December 2013. A school librarian, Tashaannth is also an intelligent, disciplined and responsible lad. He is serious with his training and seldom misses his class. Like his elder sibling, Tashaannth is also respectful and well mannered, and is adored by all his friends and instructors.

Yee Mae Fong was tabbed by Power Sport Taekwondo Academy as the ‘Student of the Month’ for November 2013. We have known Mae Fong to be a well-mannered, friendly, disciplined and responsible gal. Beside being the vice president of the school Interact Club, she also serves in the counselling committee helping those students in need. As a friend, she can be very loyal and helpful and will always go out of the way to help others in need. We have many students whom we hold very dear, and Yee Mae Fong is one of them.
