Taekwondo CCA at Tenby Schools, Setia Eco Park, Shah Alam.

A day in the Taekwondo CCA training for the KS and Primary students in Tenby Schools, Setia Eco Park.

DSC_0383See, their discipline and enthusiasm!!!

DSC_0407The first thing children learn taekwondo, they should learn discipline. The DSC_0391rigorous training they go through allows them to channel their energy in a wholesome manner. As they learn to punch and kick and DSC_0402coordinate their bodies, it helps in their concentration and memory. A taekwondo trained student is more confident, not only in the physical aspects but also in the mental discipline. Self-confidence makes people generous in their attitude toward weaker people.

Azran, a Tiger in our Team

Muhd Azran b. Amran aka TIGER is a courageous lad. He got the name TIGER because he usually fights without fear with fighters much bigger than himself. No matter how many times he falls, he will spring up and continue the fight again. Azran is popular among our team members because of his fighting spirit, the indomitable spirit (never say die). Here, you’ll see, he is been drilled to be sharper and faster in a certain technique.

Ilya May undergoing competitive training

Ilya May, a potential from SK Seksyen 9, Shah Alam, was selected, together with two others Nik Nisrina and Nik Nadlya to come for our special competitive training in Power Sport Main centre in Klang. All three of them were very committed, training every Monday and Thursday evening without fail. In the video below, you will see Ilya May was been corrected for making a wrong move…

Power Sport Main Center

On 29 March, we moved to our new centre at 17A, 1st Floor, Jalan Bayu Tinggi 1B, Taman Bayu Tinggi, 41200 Klang. This video was created to commemorate: 1. The commitment and dedication of all the black belts who had help in the moving of the centre. 2. The recent haul of several gold medals by the tournament team. 3. The commitment and hard work put in by all the coaches.

The day has come…Moving to our New Center!

image26eThe day has come…after 19 long years, we are finally moving to our new center @ 17A, 1st Floor, Jalan Bayu Tinggi 1B, Taman Bayu Tinggi, 41200 Klang.

Early this morning, at 6.30 am about 20 over members turned up to give a helping hand.

image23eThe work they did were tedious:

1. Transporting mats and all the other equipments down to the lorry to be carried up again to the new center.
image182. Laying down the mats was a challenge.
3. Mopping the mats after they have been laid down on the floor.
3. Cleaning the mirrors, glass planes etc

My wife and I, wish to thank all of them for their dedication and commitment to Power Sport.

Monday, 30 March will be the 1st class in the new centre. Happy training!!!
